Worship Service and Ministry Unto God
If you are a minister of the Gospel, is your work confined to the four walls of a building or are you following the example of Christ and working or ministering to the people in the community where your congregation is located?
Christ participated in worship services unto God in the temple but His area of ministry unto God through ministry unto the people of His community and the world was borderless…HE WENT TO WHERE THE UNGODLY PEOPLE WERE IN ORDER TO BRING THEM INTO A RIGHT RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.
He trained His disciples to do the same thing and then sent them out as apostles into their communities and the world to do the same thing also… TEACH, TRAIN AND MAKE DISCIPLES WHO WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO GO OUT AND EFFECTIVELY PROMOTE THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND NOT BUILD A MINI RELIGIOUS KINGDOM UNTO THEMSELVES.
Don’t confuse worship service confined to a building with ministry unto God.
Who Are You Promoting?
Lord, if we could only get past the me and I phase and truly start promoting YOU as one body of believers, we will see a positive transformation in this nation
The Cross vs Self Promotion
As a Christian, it is ok to promote ourselves and our work….WE JUST HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT CHRIST IS STILL THE STAR OF THE CROSS and doesn’t get lost in the hype of our self promotion.
Our Focus in Christianity
Our focus in Christianity should be to direct others to focus on Jesus Christ…not us
Promotion and Disappointment
In many cases we are promoting Christianity but are disappointed when we don’t get the praise or the facebook LIKES. LET’S KEEP THE FOCUS ON CHRIST.
Promoting Whom?
One of the problems with Christianity today is that instead of promoting Jesus Christ many are promoting themselves via the cross of Christ.
Purpose of the Church
What is the purpose of the church…the place of worship? Do we really know? Are we using it to promote God’s purpose or personal agendas?
True Promotion
If you are a Christian…make sure you’re promoting the Christ of the Bible and not the Christ of your imagination.
Competition vs Promotion
There is no competition in working for the kingdom of God. It is not about promoting ourselves and our personal agenda but about promoting God and His word.
