Do not get so emotionally charged in a church service that you leave the building physically energized but spiritually barren.

When you are doing things in the name of God and for God, make sure you’re being guided by His Spirit and not your emotions.

Whose Laws Are You Following?

Dear God,

I don’t understand why we can follow the rules of the land but when it comes to Your rules, we feel as if we have all rights to amend them to our liking and You just have to accept our decisions of change.

Please help us to understand that You are the original lawgiver; Your laws can only be amended by You and personal amendments are not one of the benefits that we have.

In any army of the world, unity is immediately recognized. Anyone who does not share this vision of unity is discharged.

In today’s christianity, DIS-UNITY is immediately recognized and it appears as if those who try to bring unity through Your Word are shunned and discharged,  while those who bring disunity through their personal and emotional opinions of your Word are embraced and deified.

Help us to be mindful of the fact that at the end of it all, you are the only true lawgiver (whether it be Old Testament or New Testament); You will do the separating at the end of this age and only the ones who abide by the laws of Your Word will remain,while those who choose to amend Your laws will be discharged forever.

Evidence of Love

No matter our nationality, societal status, race or creed, the love of God in our hearts should be evidenced by all…not just by our vocal expressions BUT by our actions towards all.

Choosing life in God through Jesus Christ is not just something you say – it is something you do by living according to His teachings, as outlined in His word, The Bible.

If you’re living by what you feel and not what you study in His Word – you could run into some serious misguidance and some serious problems. To avoid this, follow the instruction given in 2nd Timothy 2: 15.
